I have some girl crushes. On bloggers, that is. Never met any of these ladies before. I am not sure what it takes to be able to go to the Blogher or Weardrobe conferences, but it’s great motivation to keep working at this blog of mine…maybe I’ll get to go sometime.
So…hear ye, friends…if you need some good reading, pop these gals into your feed reader and take a gander at them every day. They won’t disappoint you.
Studio 222 Photography … I should clarify that Becka shares this blog with her handsome fiance, Nate. Their blog isn’t just full of lovely pictures that they shoot at Central Florida weddings - their personalities come shining through with lots of personal posts as well. I really like these two. There’s a project brewing in my head that might necessitate asking them for a small favor in the next couple weeks. I’m glad there are people like them in Orlando.
Girls and Bicycles … Miss Sarah is a lovely Canadian with a LOT OF STYLE. Holy crap does this lady know how to dress herself. She’s a vocal advocate of living a carless lifestyle and I think her viewpoints are right on the money. Her little son Dexter is too cute for words! Miss Sarah has several bicycles (including a cargo bike!) and no matter what she’s wearing, looks natural and comfortable riding all of them.
Orchid Grey … This is Julie. She is a style blogger. Her legs are awesome. She has a perfect mix of edgy and cute going on just about every day. Her finely honed vintage/thriftstore eye makes hers a great blog for those of us who don’t want to feel a little twang of jealousy every time they open their feed reader.
Blue Collar Catwalk … Kyla is another style blogger with a really great knack for putting together outfits with thrift/vintage store goods. We seem to be built with the exact same leg shape, so it’s really nice to read her blog and feel like I could possibly attempt to emulate her fabulousness. Attempt being the operative word.
I have a few more…and I’ll share them in another post later next week.
Freshly,

In honor of my departure from this fine city at the end of next week, I’m sharing a haiku.

Haikus may make a regular appearance here. I don’t usually care for poetry. But sometimes, when there’s something to be expressed……only a haiku will do.
